kitchen.
Q: When Will The Kitchen Be Delivered?
A: The kitchen is delivered on
or after the commencement date.
Q: Do I Need To Be Available For The Delivery?
A: No - we will accept delivery
for you.
Q: What Do I Need To Do Before The Commencement
Date?
A: You will need to completely
empty all your cupboards. You will also need to
make room for the delivery of your new kitchen.
If you are unsure, please contact our sales department
on freephone 0808 155 5753 to discuss.
Please be aware you are about to go through a very
disruptive period whilst your kitchen is being installed.
Take extreme protective precautions against dust
to your living environment before commencement,
dust will get into the air and travel throughout.
Please protect any valuable items inside and outside
your house.
Q: Am I protected once I have paid a deposit?
A: As a member of the KBSA - Kitchen Bathroom
Bedroom Standards Association, Niche Kitchens is
continuously vetted to ensure that the Standards
set for the Industry are maintained to the membership
criteria. As a member your deposit is insured for
up to 25% of the total contract. Therefore your
deposit of 30% of just the furniture cost is fully
covered.
Q: When Is Payment Made?
A: A 30% deposit of the furniture
cost is paid when the booking is made. The final
amount for the furniture is paid on delivery - either
by cash or cheque. The final labour charges are
paid on completion.
Q: When Am I Able To Use My Sink And Appliances?
A: Please prepare yourself for
alternative arrangements for one week. This is not
usually the case, our fitters aim to have all your
facilities working within a few days, however, if
preparations are made then there are no disappointments.
Q: What Happens If I Decide To Make Changes
After Work Has Begun Or A Deposit Is Made?
A: This is not a problem...If you
decide to make changes, we will ensure, where possible,
these are made; just the same as if they were mentioned
before the deposit was paid. The additional charges
will correspond to materials and labour costs. The
change penalties are outlined in your contract.
Q: Is There A Contract To Protect Me? When Do I
Receive A Copy?
A: There is a contract put in place,
you will receive a copy when the deposit is paid.
Q: What Happens With The Old Kitchen And The Packaging
Off The New?
A: Niche Kitchens offer a service
whereby we will remove and dispose of the old kitchen
however, you may supply your own skip if you choose
to; please note there is a substantial amount of
rubbish from the new kitchen if ordering your own
skip.
Q: When Can I Receive A Floor Plan Of The New Design?
A: Floor plans are always presented
and discussed with you. However, only once a deposit
is paid will a floor plan be provided.
Q: What If I Need To Delay My New Kitchen?
A: Niche Kitchens will try to accommodate
you to the best of our ability. There is a lead
time with bookings, therefore we will book you in
on our first available date.
Q: Are There Any Warranties With The Appliances,
Sinks Or Taps?
A: Yes - these are provided by
the manufacturer. All paperwork will be left with
the fitted appliances once your installation is
completed. Please remember to register your warrantee
for your new appliances within 1 month of kitchen
completion. Any faults found on appliances after
installation has been completed will need to be
repaired under the terms of the manufacturers warrantee.
Niche Kitchens or any other engineer, unless otherwise
appointed by the manufacturer, cannot attempt to
repair the appliance as this will deem your warrantee
with your manufacturer invalid.
Q: Is There a Guarantee on my Kitchen Installation
and Furniture?
A: Yes – There is a 12 month
Guarantee, this is outlined in your contract with
Niche Kitchens.
