When
looking at the quality of kitchen carcases we need to
first look at the quality of the chipboard. Chipboard
has a compression rate which is graded between 0 –
10. The higher the compression rate the stronger the chipboard
which makes for a more durable carcase. A
compression rate of 0-4 would be the lowest quality.
Grade 5 – 6 which is most commonly used, may show
signs of aging faster than expected. At Niche Kitchens
we only use grade 9 – 10 chipboard. This compression
rate of chipboard is exceedingly durable and provides
you with a high quality product every time. We are able
to guarantee this quality as Eggar manufactures their
materials both here in Britain and in Germany.
To prevent peeling and damage all kitchen
carcases are manufactured with a PVC Edging. All carcases
are also color coordinated with your doors ensuring
a beautiful kitchen every time.Soft closing is supplied
as standard on all drawers and doors, this is a mechanism
which with a slight push allows your drawers and doors
a controlled a quiet close.
